To manage the high volumes of Penguin click and collect footfall coming to the store to collect their online orders, the Antarctica Experience Store has invested in the Qudini Click and Collect System. This ensures that their customers have a seamless collection experience, whilst the retail store is able to maximise their staff productivity and even double the speed of serving customers their click and collect orders.
How it works
- Check-in: Penguins entering the Antarctica Experience Store are now able to check-in their order details at a kiosk, placed near the store entrance and where the click and collect counter used to be.
- Stay updated: On checking in, the penguin receives a text message to confirm their order is being processed. From here they can click a web-link to view a live countdown as their order processes. They can also watch his order’s status from a TV near the kiosk. This leaves the penguin free to browse the store whilst they wait for their order to arrive.
- Collect: When the penguin’s order is ready, they receive an SMS to let them know and the TV screen will update. Then the penguin can go to the counter to collect their order.
