Fever-Tree is a producer of premium drink mixers, founded by Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow in 2004. Based in west London, Fever-Tree makes a variety of products including tonic water, ginger beer and lemonade.
To promote its drink mixers, Fever Tree regularly hosts pop-up bars at London events.
Fever Tree was planning to sponsor London Cocktail Week by hosting a pop-up bar and an ‘Escape Room’-style game called ‘Mix In the Dark’.
The Mix In the Dark game featured quiz questions, blind tasting and problem solving in order to escape from a locked room.
Fever Tree needed an effective way to manage visitors wanting to play its game, whilst ensuring they could enjoy the event whilst they waited.
Fever Tree used the Qudini Appointment Booking Software so that customers could pre-book their game experience time-slot.
When visitors arrived at the game, a host showed the available ten-minute booking slots on a tablet and took their name, email and phone number to confirm their allotted time.
The players then received a text and email to confirm their slot.
This freed the customer to enjoy the rest of the event and the Fever Tree bar. They were then sent a SMS reminder message five minutes before their turn.
Qudini enabled Fever Tree to present a digital and professional brand image that ensured all its customers got to experience the game without having to wait.
The easy waiting experience ensured that customers visited the stand and even shared the experience with their friends.
High volumes of customers made a booking for the Fever Tree game and almost everyone turned up for their slot when their turn arose. The process ensured more customers got to enjoy the experience.
